What file formats do you accept?
Send us your artwork in any file format and, if necessary, we will fix your artwork for free and provide an online proof showing any changes we made. You can request changes to your proof and we will make them for free until you’re happy.
To speed up the proofing process, we suggest the following formats: TIF, PSD, EPS, AI, PDF and JPG. For best results, your artwork should be in CMYK color mode, at least 300 dpi and scaled at 100% of the size it will be printed.
How do I indicate a cut line in my artwork?
We’ll automatically create a cut line for you and show how we intend to cut your custom stickers by providing an online proof. You can request changes to your proof until it looks exactly how you want.
If you’d like to indicate the cut line yourself, we recommend using a vector based stroke. It’s helpful if you do this but not required.
Why did my size change during proofing?
Your actual size is smaller than the size purchased.
For example, it’s quite common for customers to order 3″ x 3″ stickers when their actual size is 3″ x 2.8″.
You asked us to increase the size.
When increasing a size based on your request, we will scale the artwork to size closest to your requested size if we cannot hit it exactly. For example, if you ask us to increase your size from 3″ x 2″ to 6″ x 6″ we would increase it to 4″ x 6″ because that’s the closest size we can hit based on your design.
What happens when your size changes.
When your size changes we indicate the new size and price on the proof approval page. If you’re unhappy with the new size or price you can request additional changes to your order during proofing. Changes are not possible after approval since we begin printing immediately to ensure fast turnaround.
What if my artwork is low quality?
We will fix your artwork for free and show you a proof before we make your order. You can request changes to your proof and we will make them for free until you’re happy.
We aim to prepare your proof within 8 hours of receiving your order, but low quality artwork may cause delays as our designers will redraw it from scratch before preparing your proof. If your artwork is especially complex and also low resolution, we may not be able to redraw it and will contact you to request a higher quality version.
How do I increase the resolution of my artwork?
For best print quality, we recommend uploading vector artwork or high resolution images at 300 ppi or better. There are different ways to export or generate your artwork at maximum quality:
- Set up your artwork using our optional design templates.
- If your artwork is in vector format, send us the file in it’s original format (AI, EPS, or SVG).
- If you created your artwork in Photoshop, check your resolution by selecting Image > Image Size…
Can You Print Pantone Colors?
We convert Pantone colors to their CMYK equivalent values for printing. If you’d like to specify your own CMYK values, please include that in your artwork instructions when ordering.
Do I need to use templates?
No, templates are completely optional. To ensure that your custom stickers look how you desire, we prepare free proofs with every order that show how we intend to make your stickers. You can request changes to your proofs and we will make them for free until you’re happy 🙂
How do I setup my artwork for full bleed printing?
Specify you want full bleed printing when uploading artwork and we’ll make sure your design is printed to the edge of the sticker, if possible — without a white border.
It’s not necessary to set up the bleed on your own, but if you’d like to help us out leave a 1/8″ bleed surrounding the cut line.
Full bleed printing is when your printing extends to the edge of the sticker. There’s no extra charge for full bleed sticker printing. Additionally, you can always request changes to a proof and ask for the white border to be added, made thinner or removed.
What are the CMYK values for TRUE BLACK
For true black use: C:60 M:40 Y:40 K:100
Is it possible to Update the Artwork I already submited?
Yes, you can either email us the changes you want or, when you receive your first proof, you can select “request changes” to provide us with new instructions and also new artwork.
Will you accept artwork with RGB colors?
Yes, we will accept your artwork in RGB and convert it to the closest CMYK equivalents. If you let us know your desired CMYK values when ordering it will make it easier for us to print your desired colors. Otherwise we will use our judgement to decide the closest equivalents.
